Day 1
Settling In
Arrive around 2:00 PM at Guanacaste International Airport. We will shuttle over to the base of the Miravalles Volcano where our treehouse bungalow awaits!
Guests will be welcomed with refreshments upon arrival and guided through the property on a tour.
After settling in, Shade & Travel guests will meet on the property's lush gardens for a welcome dinner + meet and greet.
Day 2
Thermal River + Hot Springs
On this day, guests will embark on a white water tubing expedition. This adventure meanders through over a mile of stunning canyon landscape, narrow rock walls and rolling whitewater.
Once the activity is over, guests can visit the thermal canyon & springs. It's a mile long and is blessed with dozens of natural pools of varying temperatures —perfect for mud baths.
After our excursion, we will return to the property's grounds leaving guests the freedom to enjoy the night however they see fit.
Day 3
Canyon Zip Line Adventure
Ready for even more of a thrill? Following breakfast, guests will explore Costa Rica's beauty by gliding through the jungle via zip line. The zip line course includes:
15 Platforms: 6 of them are rock-based, 9 are suspended on the canyon walls
● A Pendulum Cable
● A 50 ft. “Tarzan Swing”
● A 90 ft. Challenge Bridge
● 4 Via Ferratas (climbing routes) with lengths varying from 15 ft. to over 30 ft.
● 5 Ziplines with lengths varying from 260 ft. to over 800 ft.
Day 4
Tamarindo Beach
General Itinerary (Included in Core Experience)
Following breakfast, guests will shuttle over to Tamarindo!
Once settled in, guests can sit back, relax and sip cocktails. Today is the day to simply lay by the pool, hit the beach and enjoy your time in lovely Tamarindo without any set plans.
Outdoor Massages (*Add-On Option)
If guests are in need of R&R – They can escape to paradise with a personalized massage.

Day 5
Open Bar Yacht Cruise
On this day we will explore Costa Rica's pacific side, aboard a luxury private charter for a half day excursion.
This charter features a premium vessel, full bar with mixologist and small bites to eat. Guests will have the option to snorkel through crystal clear waters, visit secluded coves and coral reefs.
After our excursion, we will return to our hotel leaving guests the freedom to enjoy the night however they see fit.
Day 6
Heading Home
On the morning of this day, we'll eat breakfast and shuttle over to the airport and depart for our flight back to NYC (JFK).
Booking Information / Payment Options
On this group travel trip, Shade & Travel guests will explore two different parts of Costa Rica. First, we will explore the jungles and completely immerse ourselves with nature and then head to a popular beach town to rest and rejuvenate. All guests must have a roommate for this group trip. The below payment options reflect pricing based on one-half of the two person bundle. To secure your spot, each guest will have to pay a deposit ranging from $398 - $471 or pay for the trip in full. Please note, the deposit price reflects on if flight is included. All of our trips can be paid for in full or through a Shade & Travel pricing plan.
